Jenna Stockman is the coordinator of communications content at Step Up. Her work is focused on creating engaging, informative content that inspires. You’ll likely see her work in action on Step Up’s social media platforms, in your email inbox, or on our website.
Before joining Step Up, Jenna attended Santa Clara University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in both Communications and Women’s and Gender Studies. Some of her coursework included Visions of Abolition: Policing in America, Violence Against Women, LGBTQIA+ Studies, Communication and Gender, and Feminist Theology, among many others. Earning her degrees taught her how to communicate with passion, purpose, and sensitivity, and she’s proud to leverage the skills she acquired to uplift and empower women of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.
In her free time, you’ll probably find her at the gym, experimenting with a new recipe, or watching the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

What has your mentor taught you?
“My parents have taught me to always stay true to myself. Though it sounds cliche, holding true to my values and defining my non-negotiables has allowed me to create the life that I’ve always wanted for myself and foster a deep sense of self-trust.”
What do you enjoy most about working at Step Up?
“When people love what they do, it shows. Each member of the Step Up team truly believes in our mission and works hard to make sure we’re delivering authentic, inspiring experiences to each and every girl we engage with. I love working with supportive, passionate people, because they motivate me to show up as the best version of myself every day.”
