Kyra Addison is currently the Teen Programs Coordinator based in Dallas, TX. She is responsible for coordinating teen program activities while maintaining effective and proactive relationships with ambassadors within partnering schools.
Kyra has always had a desire for helping others, especially those who reside in underdeveloped communities. Kyra is a Greenwood, Mississippi native who has served in many roles within the education system. She has worked alongside the academic staff at The University of Mississippi for the benefit of students ranging from rising high school seniors to undergraduate student-athletes. While at The University of Mississippi, she also served as a member of the first-generation college student cohort where she had the opportunity of mentoring students on campus. Kyra has served as a liaison within the Dallas ISD collegiate academies and Lewisville ISD as a mentor and counseling intern. Kyra has been able to serve in various organizations as a Counseling Intern in both clinical and educational settings. While working within Dallas ISD and Uplift school districts, she had the honor of being a Teen Programs Facilitator with Step Up during the 2019-2020 academic school year. Kyra has been able to assist students as much as possible with their academia for the past seven years. She is strongly committed to the area of student-focused academic success in underdeveloped high school settings.
When Kyra is not working, you can find her exploring her creativity through various makeup looks and cosmetic endeavors, spending time with family and friends as well as singing along to her favorite tunes at karaoke.
